Hello everyone!

I’m fortunate enough to be taking a trip with my better half (and also a car nut) to Italy in April, which will include a trip to Maranello for the Ferrari museum/factory.

I am hoping to rent a car for the 3-4 days we are in Florence/Tuscany and potentially stay in a hotel on the coast and do some driving days/trips with the lady in a more interesting classic car - preferably a red, Italian convertible.

Does anyone know of any rental agencies or have experience doing this that you could provide me? Ideally it would be an Alfa Spyder, Guila Spyder, or maybe a Ferrari (a la Magnum PI) - just something fun (manual?) and interesting for our pictures and driving pleasure.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Here’s something, but it’s quite pricey. http://www.chianticlassiccar.com/rates.php

EDIT: Here’s another one, but it doesn’t have prices.

When I was down along the Amalfi Coast there was a Hertz rental shop that had a late 80's Alfa spider. We rented scooters, but they may have something similar in Marenello.

I found these guys when I was researching myself. Down near Sorrento.

Thank you for the help! I’ve reached out to them both and will report back what develops.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to give a call to a few of the rental offices and see if they have anything interesting not listed on Kayak.com etc.

Wow that’s an awesome site! I think they’re a bit too far south for where I’m going to be, but I’m keeping them in my saved notes for future trips.
